the groundbreaking cylinda line series was conceived when mr. jacobsen made some rough sketches on a napkin. it was necessary that new machines and welding techniques be developed to accomplish the remarkably smooth, cylindrical stainless-steel surfaces, devoid of any tension lines. when the cylinda line hit the market in 1967, it attracted both wide attention and design awards for its serene, functionalist design. holds 1.25liters.
